TBoK took out Magmaw in one attempt last night, scoring 2 kills in our last 2 attempts. Apparently Magmaw has a certain affinity for tanks (after all, he does chew on them during the fight) and dropped his tanking trinket for the second straight time. The trash dropped 2 excellent items, both going to DPS.

We then headed for the Omnotron Defense System, getting in 10 attempts before calling it quits. Our best attempt was 40%, doing rather well for a first night. With ODS likely to fall soon, we will turn our attention afterwards to Halfus Wyrmbreaker and the Conclave of Wind.

Be forewarned that as we move these bosses from down --> farm it is likely that we will schedule a specific raid instance on a specific night (ie BoT one night, BWD another) in order to dedicate the appropriate time to each.

Last night TBoK got their first Magmaw kill, needing 6 attempts to bring the worm down. After enduring unfortunate, frustrating, and weird wipes in the previous 3 attempts we need 8 minutes to record the kill, also getting the achievement in the process

In an advenure packed game, where communicatoin between teammates could mean the difference between living and dying, communication is very important.

Unhappy with latency issues, and quality of voice issues, and other unpleasant things in using vent servers, the guild leadership has decided to attempt something different.

After extensive research we have decided to try a mumble server.  The connection details for our server are posted in the members forum on this site, and in the guild info tab in game.

We have now downed the Lich King (for fun) and it is likely we will go back to get some achievements Fall of the Lich King and the mount reward from those achievements. Check your calendar these events.

We have killed Argaloth twice now, the first boss in the Baradin Hold raid, and we are very close to our first Magmaw kill.
